With over 1,800 acres of CCOF certified-organic vineyards under his personal care and management, Mark Neal is undoubtedly one of the wine industry’s most prominent producers of organically grown grapes. His vineyard management company Jack Neal & Son (JNS), Inc. represents four decades of premium grape growing in Napa Valley, and currently oversees vineyards for some of the region’s most prestigious wineries. Wines produced under Mark’s own label, “Neal Family Vineyards”, are a tribute to his father, as well as a result of his own determination to produce world class wines in a sustainable manner so that future generations may do the same. Located 1,800 feet up Howell Mountain, the Neal Family Vineyards winery offers both tours and tastings. Just be sure to call ahead.
