Tablas Creek Vineyard:

Tablas Creek Vineyard is one of California’s most internationally renowned producers of Rhône-based wines. The label was founded in 1989 as a joint venture between the Perrin family of the famed Château de Beaucastel in the southern Rhône region of France, and Robert Haas, one of the United States’ premier importers of European fine wines. After years of searching, the two partners chose to plant their 120-acre organically farmed vineyard on the western side of Paso Robles. Their decision was based on three key factors: limestone soils, a favorable climate, and rugged terrain – the same attributes that define the unique site of Château de Beaucastel. True to their Rhône roots, all of Tablas Creek’s vines are propagated from cuttings imported from the Perrin’s celebrated estate in Châteauneuf du Pape.
