Hidden deep within the famed Chiles Valley appellation, Volker Eisele Family Estate produces some of Napa Valley's finest Cabernet. The estate has a winemaking history that dates back to the 1870's, when German pioneer Francis Sievers established the first vineyard and winery on the site. Over 100 years later, Volker Eisele and his wife Liesel purchased the property after falling in love with its tranquil beauty and old world charm. Determined to return the land to its natural state, Volker has farmed his soils without the use of any synthetic chemicals since 1974. He has also implemented an extensive restoration project designed to promote native plant and animal species. Thanks to his efforts, California oaks, river otters, and bears are once again thriving on the 400 acre estate.
