Family–owned and operated for nearly 30 years, Frey Vineyards has long been known for its ongoing commitment to environmental conservation and organic winemaking practices. In fact, Frey Vineyards is one of the very few wineries in the world that produces a true organic wine (made with no added sulfites). Located within the beautiful Redwood Valley appellation in Mendocino County, the Frey estate is largely an extension of the natural environment that surrounds the magical 1,000 acre property. Even the winery’s main offices reflect a sense of connectedness to the natural world, which, after a few sips of wine underneath the trees, makes one wish they never had to leave. Fortunately, the Frey family welcomes visitors five days a week. Just be sure to call ahead.
