Porter–Bass Vineyards:
Located near the small town of Guerneville, California, Porter–Bass Winery sits nine miles from the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by 360 degrees of majestic conifer forest. Originally planted to Zinfandel over a century ago, the Bass family has since added Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to their perfectly suited cool–climate location. The vines are all biodynamically farmed using a number of preparations that are made on–site, thus honoring the self–sustaining philosophy that Rudolf Stiener set forth in 1924. Truly connected to their land, winemaker Luke Bass and his wife Elena, along with their son Enzo, live no more than twenty feet away from the vines they farm. Lukes parents still live on the property as well, forever attached to the terroir, and their hidden home amongst the trees.
