Yorkville Cellars:

Yorkville Cellars is located right off highway 128, deep within the heavily forested hills of southern Mendocino County. It is one of the original 12 vineyards in the state to receive organic certification, and the only winery to grow and produce all eight of the classic Bordeaux grape varieties, each as a single varietal wine. Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and even Carmenère have all proven to thrive in the unique locale of the Yorkville Highlands appellation. Yorkville Cellars’ vineyards sit 1,000 ft. up, directly above the junction of the Navarro River and Russian River watersheds. There are only 30 acres under vine on the 110 acre property, a true testament to the winery’s ongoing commitment to preserve and protect their local ecosystem.
